I hate writing about myself. Christ clearly taught that we should do our good works but let others see our "good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven, (Matt. 5:16) Not a word is written tells us to display our good works so that people might glorify us. We are to be humble so the Lord shall lift us up. Ref. James 4:10 Paul warned against us being puffed up. Ref. 1 Cor. 4:6. And Christ said, "For whosoever exalteth himself shal be abased, and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted." (Luke 14:11). Therefore, I shall limit my comments about myself.
I made a profession of faith more than fifty years ago at the age of sixteen. I took my religion serious then and I have taken it serious ever since. Had some hard knocks along life's journal, but say little about that. I purchased my first bible a year or so later and have studied the bible ever since. I also listened to many different preachers and read a lot of Christian literature and went to different church services. At the age of twenty-one or twenty-two, I was selected as the adult Bible Class teacher in our local church.
Beyond that, I shall leave it to others to evaluate my faith.
I'm Lynn Cooper and I want to say the following about Art. I have known Art for a number of years and was a tenant of his wife and him back in 2015. I am privy to all of the illegal deeds done to them by crooked lawyers and corrupt judges. Via an illegal guardianship petition against his wife, they lost everything that they had, an estate valued at $2.5 million.
This not an unusual occurrence. It is well documented by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Senate's Special Committee on Aging that this is $3 Billion a year loss to the disabled and elderly, and very little is done about it.
In fact, one state employee was eventually fired by the state of Kentucky for lying and stealing from the state but only fired and never prosecuted.
I know Art to be one of the most honest, truthful, loving, kind, compassionate, and righteous living persons I have ever known.
Art is concerned about the course our country is on but not surprised. Art has seen the signs of evil manifested in our country for years and has repeatedly said that bad times were coming. He was not shocked nor surprised when 9/11 happened. He was expecting war and blood flowing in our streets. Bible history proves that God does not bless sinful, evil nations and teaches the exact opposite. Sin destroys nations and peoples.
John Hancock said, "Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual."
Ronald Reagan,said, "If we ever forget that we are a nation under God, we will be a nation gone under." As a nation, we are going under because of the sins of the people.
