The the following are my views and interpretations of these hot topics.  Some are embraced by some people and condemned by others.  I will try to explain the good, the bad, and the misconceptions of each according to my understanding of each.

CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM:

To me, Christian Nationalism is a basic national belief in Jeweo-Christian ethics, i.e.,  the Holy Bible.  The majority of Americans and the peoples of the West share this belief, and has so been since about 300 AD, when the Roman Emperor Constantine became a Christian.  This was long after the Romans had killed Christ's disciples--except John-- and had been a pagan society for several hundreds of years.  There is a major difference between Christians and those that use it to justify evil deeds.

Man must have a religion.  That is because he was created in the likeness and image of God with a body, soul and spirit. People who do not believe in God and accept Christ as God's Son are by nature sinful.  That is because they are in under the influence of Adam's sin.  Nevertheless, man knows right from wrong. Abraham believed God; Moses rejected a life of royally to seek and serve God.

In my view, Christian Nationalism people that believe that it was the rule of the day in the early days of our Republic.  America was clearly a nation of Christian Nationalism in its early days.  Abraham has been quoted as saying, "the Bible is God's greatest gift to man."  He also said, "Intelligence, patriotism, Christianity and a ... reliance on Him, who has never yet forsaken the favored land are still competent to adjust, is the best way all of our present difficulties."--Lincoln quotes

Harvard University was founded in 1636 by the MA Colonial legislature that did not want to "leave an illiterate ministry to the churches and mainly taught Congregationalists clergy."--Wikipedia

Yale University was founded in 1701 by Congregationalists clergy and only taught theology and sacred languages.--Wikipedia

Therefore, history proves that America was heavily influenced by Christian Nationalism for the first few hundreds of years both before and after gaining independence.  An except for the issues of burning the witches and the importation of slaves, served the Republic well. Both of these evil deeds commenced under the King of Great Britain and ended after we gained Independence, but still not soon enough.

Christianity is a doctrine of living like Christ.  There is one test that determines who is and who is not a Christian--LOVE, Christ and Paul both made this very clear.  "Love thy neighbor as thyself," (Mark 12:31) said Christ.  Without love, Paul likened himself  as a "sounding brass and tinkling cymbal." (1 Cor. 13:1).  Christianity is not an evil religion.  Christianity is a relationship with Christ; however, it has been blamed for many evil deeds.

Our country has fallen a long ways during the last several years. President Reagan was clearly a man of Godly faith.  And the country fared well.  Today only 43% of Americans identify as white and Christian.  In 1976, 81% of Americans identified as white and Christians, according to National Geographic magazine, mid-2023 edition.  This  is a major decline of the Christian faith in fewer than fifty years.

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God." Ps. 9:17.  America is already paying a price for her many sins.

Our founding fathers were clearly men of faith that believed in God.  The early settlers were mainly people of Europe that was seeking freedom to worship according to their desires as well as seeking to escape the tyrannical decrees  of the King of Great Brition. Therefore, the freedom of religion was incorporated in the First Amendment of the Constitution and they did NOT say freedom "from" religion.

We still have prayers in the halls of Congress but not in our government schools--except when we have a shooting and then the students bring prayer back into the schools.  However, the liberals/socialists/democrats want to control the content of the prayers in Congress and do not want to hear the words "Father, God," or heaven forbid "Jesus Christ."

Every country, every city and every people that have rejected God's wisdom has fallen into serious trouble.  The book of Isaiah is historical record of what happened to the Egyptians, the Assyrians, the Philistines, the Syrians, and Jordan. God is not mocked and all nations that forsake God shall be turned in hell. Cf. Ps. 9:17.

America must forsake National Satanism and get back to Christian Nationalism or it will reap the judgment of God.

PATRIOTISM:  My definition of Patriotism is being loyal to the country and defending it against evil, supporting freedom and liberty.  It is a belief in ownership of property and limited government.  The first duty of the government is to protect the people so said the Supreme Court in a very early opinion, Marbury v. Madison.  To me, Patriotism is not an antitheses of Christianity, nor is one an enemy of the other.  A person can be both a Christian and a Patriot.

LIBERALISM--COMMUNISM:  Liberalism and communism are both Satanic  godless religions.  Ms. Ann Coulter wrote the book, The Church of  godless Liberalism.  When God established a government to govern the Israelis, He ordained judges to make decisions.  When the people rebelled against God's plan, He told Sameul to give them a king because the people had not rebelled against Samuel but against God.  The people got evil Saul. However, Saul was an anointed man of God, but when he became king over Israel, he turned evil, and God said that if he had remained faithful, (Ref. 1st Sam. 13:13) Israel would have been established forever. "Sin is a reproach to any people." Prov. 14:34.  Sin is condemned throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and God's blessings is never promised to the wicked. Of all of the hundreds--perhaps thousands--of promises in the Bible, not one single good promise is to the wicked.  All of the good promises are to the righteous.  But the wicked are making the same mistakes today that wicked people have made for thousands of years.

Jeremiah was pained because of the sins of his people (Jer. 4:19)--much akin to the Christians are today at the sins of America--but the people refused to listen to Jeremiah and done what the liberals, communists and Satan Nationalists are doing today, they are committing two great evils:  They have forsaken the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and are seeking their own solutions to the nation's problems.  Jeremiah said of his people: "they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water." (Jer. 2:13)  Sin is not a blessing to any people.  Paul said, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." (Gal. 5:1). "[W]here the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 2 Cor. 2:17)

Liberalism, Communism, Satan Nationalism all seek to enslave the people with more and more laws as we are seeing the asinine climate change, gun control, etc.  Laws deprive the people of liberty.

Liberals, Communists, and Satan Nationalists do what they do because they believe Satan's lies.

Human nature has not changed.  Power corrupts.  When people get into positions of authority, they want to be God and they want people to honor and worship them.  Judges in our courts put on black robes and demand to be addressed as "your honor," the majority of them are dishonest. Before there were Emperors in Rome, the Pharaohs of Egypt were worshiped by the people.  The peoples of China and Japan had leaders that they worshiped.  The Royalty of Great Britain is graced with high honor by their subjects, but does God hold them in high esteem?  That question will be answered on the day of Judgment.

CONCLUSION:  From George Washington to George H. W. Bush, America was governed by Christian Nationalism.  That is not to say that all of our presidents were God fearing Christians, but the basic faith of Americans was Christianity.

The Christian faith is well documented in our nation's history from the recorded comments of George Washington, John Adams, Abraham Lincoln, FDR, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump. And the Supreme Court has ruled four times that we are a Christian nation: Vidal v. Girald's Executors, (1844);  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints v. U.S. (1890); Holy Trinity v. U.S. (1892);  and U.S. v. MacIntosh (1931).

Then Obama said, "we are no longer a Christian nation; we are a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers." --June 28, 2006.

America is headed for doom.  And the only hope for the nation is an awakening of the sins of the people and a repentance revival.

Israel was once where we are.  The prophet Jeremiah tried to get the people to repent and turn back to God.  They refused to comply with God's will and followed their own ways and sought their own solutions.  "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living water, and have hewed them out cisterns, broken cistern that can hold no water."  Jer. 2:13.

America is following in the footsteps of of the Israels.  Our leaders are forsaking the faith in God that made our nation great and are following their own ways which lead to destruction.

Evil is invading our churches; preachers are espousing sin and supporting sinful behavior and doctrines that can only lead to the wrath of God upon the nation.  America must repent of her sins and sinful behavior.  The only way to achieve this end is a nationwide awakening revival.

DISCLAIMER:  The liberals like to claim that Christians are racists, bigots, homophobes, etc. Some people claiming to be Christians may espouse these characteristics; however, to be Christian is to be Christ like and to follow Christ's examples.  Christ did not hate anybody--not even the men that nailed him to the cross.  Christ did not approve of their sins but gave his life for the salvation of all and demanded that his disciples love all including those that hated them.  Christianity is a religion of love, kindness, compassion and forgiveness.  Christianity is not a religion of hate.
